It is another overcast day here at HQ but it has remained dry and most courses throughout the country are drying rapidly. It looks like it will be an intriguing Eclipse on Saturday and the focus is very much on the three year-olds with Barney Roy, Cliffs Of Moher and Eminent heading the betting.

I was pleased with Global Humor when he won yesterday as he was very professional and the second horse looked to be a solid yardstick. I will give him a short break now and I feel there is further improvement to come from him.

Kafoo is our only runner today at Brighton. I think he will enjoy the quicker ground there and he may enjoy the track but he does have to bounce back from a disappointing effort last time. Swilly Sunset looks the most obvious winner given he is consistent and won with Silvestre up last time, who rides the track very well.
