About The Racing Club Horses

SOCIETY LION (Invincible Spirit ex Pavlosk) Bay Gelding

AND

New for 2025 a ZOUSTAR Yearling Filly

(Zoustar ex A Huge Dream)

Society Lion

Society Lion is a seven-year-old son of Invincible Spirit. He is a strong, compact, sprinting type who performs well on both turf and all weather, so he should continue to provide lots of days out racing all year round.

He is most effective over 6f – 7f, having won 6 times over that trip, including a Class 2 at Glorious Goodwood. He proved ever consistent throughout the 2024 season, highlighted with 2 wins for the Club under Danny Muscutt.

He falls nicely into the evergreen sprinting category and one that we can have lots of fun with.

“He is stable favourite, a very consistent type, & should continue to give everyone lots of fun over the coming year.” Ed Dunlop

The Zoustar filly

( to be named by club members)

ZOUSTAR ex A HUGE DREAM

CHESNUT FILLY

LOT 520 TATTERSALLS BOOK 2

This very elegant daughter of Zoustar was bought back by her breeders for 55,000GNS at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling sales. She looks like the type to make the track in the summer of her two year old career, while also having the scope to go on and progress at three.

Her dam, A Huge Dream was a multiple winner in France over sprint trips and was also placed in a Listed race on her final start. She has bred Tone The Barone who won thirteen races and was rated 103, Chasing Dreams who Godolphin owned and won three times rated 98. Another of her notable daughters is Mrs Gallagher who won on her debut at Ascot as a two year old and went on to claim two Listed events on either side of the Irish sea as a three year old. Her extended family is littered with high class sprinters, such as Harry Angel, Extension, Supremacy and White Lavender.

Zoustar is an all conquering dual hemisphere stallion who won 6 races in his native Australia, including the prestigious Golden Rose and Coolmore stud stakes, both of which are Group 1’s.He has sired 10 Group 1 winners to date including Lezoo who won the Cheveley Park over six furlongs at 2 and Starlust who won the latest running of the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint.
