Trip To Paris cantering up Warren Hill.
Trip To Paris took a trip back to Ascot on Saturday and secured a second victory of his career under Ryan Moore. Trip To Paris won the Cainsbay Bloodstock Handicap by 1 ¾ lengths following up from a fantastic run in the King George V Stakes, five weeks previously at the Royal meeting where he finished sixth of the eighteen runners.
Trip To Paris was dropped in towards the rear for the vast part of the race before coming wide in the straight with a strong run, winning convincingly with a bit in hand. He is proving to be a very exciting Saturday horse for his owners, the La Grange Partnership and we are optimistic this son of Champs Elysees will carry on improving throughout the rest of the season.
“Trip To Paris ran very well at Royal Ascot and the handicapper was very kind to him, dropping him 1lb. Ryan gave him a fantastic ride on Saturday and I am hopeful he will keep on progressing.”
Stephen Nicholson looks after Trip To Paris as well as the mighty Red Cadeaux and seems to have a good eye for picking horses, as he also handles More Beau, a winner this year over six furlongs and Taqneen who has been knocking on the door all season.
