Qaswarah
The skies are blue here in HQ and it’s a very pleasant day for the time of the year. The babies are coming along well and the first group have been enjoying themselves on the heath as they start their process of learning what being a racehorse is all about.
We run two horses at Chelmsford today. Qaswarah runs in the fillies’ 1m Novice at 18:55. She showed some ability on her debut before getting tired and I hope she can build on that this evening. It does look like a strong race however and the well-bred Perfection has been well found in the market to make a winning debut. Final Treat and Bubble And Squeak have shown a fair level of ability and I will be happy if our filly can show us something to build on for next year. King Kevin runs in the last at 20:55 and he has been drawn widest of all unfortunately. He has run well here from a wide draw before and I hope he can do so again as it does look a weak affair but it won’t be easy for him.
