THE TIGER devoured his rivals yet again when scoring at Catterick yesterday under Graham Lee, who only had to shake the gelding up to forge clear of the field by one and three quarter lengths. The four year old was recording his third career win for owner Johnny Weatherby and he did it well given he had to overcome a 6lb penalty after bolting up at Pontefract on his last run. Tackling a mile and a half for the first time, The Tiger relished the trip and more improvement is expected. All eyes now are on the November Handicap at Doncaster on Saturday week and connections are hopeful that he can make the cut given that he is now rated 87 which was the minimum mark in two of the last four renewals of the race.
