TANFEETH, who ran so well at Chester last time, duly gained his just reward when landing the 10-furlong maiden at Sandown on Thursday evening.
Richard Hills was always in control in Tanfeeth, and the odds-on favourite, home-bred by Sheikh Hamdan Al-Maktoum, readily asserted his superiority in the final furlong to win by a length and three-quarters.
Ed said:"Tanfeeth deserved that. He ran really well to chase home Colombian in what looked a decent maiden at Chester, and getting his head in front here will have done his confidence the world of good."
