In a season that has already been kind to the Ed Dunlop Racing Club, Society Lion made a Sunday trip to Doncaster worthwhile when knuckling down to win for the second time in as many starts.
Coming out of his Yarmouth win in good form, despite having never run further than 7f in his 5 seasons racing, 7 y-o Society Lion took the step up in trip to 1m at Doncaster comfortably, guided to success by Dan Muscutt once again for the club.
With plenty of his supporters in attendance this was a fantastic result for the Ed Dunlop Racing Club and opens a few more options for him for the rest of the season over slightly further trips.
