SADAFIYA, who showed immense promise first time out at Newbury in a maiden which threw up a subsequent Glorious Goodwood winner in Kalahaag, duly delivered next time when winning a sprint maiden on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton.
It was no penalty kick with Godolphin having the favourite in Busker, but Sadafiya quickened up well in the straight to win by half a length, and, with the pair pulling clear of the rest, it was probably a half-decent race.
Ed said:"Sadafiya is a well-bred filly "" her dam, Nidhaal, was a Listed winner for us and also finished second in the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot "" and this one takes after her mother in that she is small. But she is also racey with a powerful action, and it was a very pleasing performance."
