NARDIN just got up on the line at Wolverhampton last night under Tadhg O'Shea to give La Grange a second winner of the week for owner Sheikh Hamdam Al Maktoum. This filly showed promise on her debut at Kempton and followed that up with a second at the same track, so she was not winning out of turn when taking the six furlong fillies' event. In what was quite a competitive little maiden, Nardin was ridden in touch for most of the race before staying on well at the finish to score by a short head from Midnight Flower. The smart looking daughter of Royal Applause is sure to improve again from this and hopefully has not seen the last of the winners enclosure.
