Dubai Frame
Good afternoon from Newmarket. It has of course been a difficult few days following the terribly sad death of my father, however, receiving all the wonderful tributes from so many people from all over the world has been a great tonic for me and my family. Reading so many warm tributes emphasises just what an extraordinary man he was and how enormous his legacy will be.
The show must go on of course, and this afternoon I am relying on just on runner, namely Dubai Frame in the 4.50 at Wolverhampton. A son of Sixties Icon from a family that contains a fair degree of stamina, this mile and a half trip ought to bring out the best in him. His siblings include the useful hurdler Sleep Easy and Last Tango Inparis, who was Listed-placed over a mile and a half. Dubai Frame ran a fair race on his seasonal return at Lingfield, and should strip fitter today. This is certainly a competitive race, but he hopefully has a small each way chance under Edward Greatrex.
All the best,
Ed.
