SNOW FAIRY was rewarded for her consistency when taking the Listed Height of Fashion Stakes at Goodwood, formally known as the Lupe Stakes.
The daughter of Intikhab was a close third in the Prestige Stakes at the Sussex track last season and on that form was in with a good chance for her seasonal reappearance.
She stumbled slightly on leaving the stalls under Eddie Ahern but he soon got her into a nice rhythm at the back of the field.
The filly made up ground as they went down the hill before being switched to the outside to make her challenge.
At that point Snow Fairy showed a smart turn of foot to motor clear of her rivals to score by three lengths.
A delighted Dunlop said: "She was impressive today but had been slow to come to hand.
"We may consider supplementing for the Ribblesdale and there is also the option of adding her to the Oaks, but we'll have to see what the owner wants to do."
