LAUGHING JACK, who joined our team from Michael Bell during the winter, made a winning start for us in the 10-furlong maiden at Windsor on Monday evening.
Eddie Ahern jumped Laughing Jack out in front and they made all the running, showing plenty of spirit to hold Sir Michael Stoute's Nibani by a short head, the pair pulling five lengths clear of the rest.
Ed said:"Laughing Jack ran well on his one start for Michael last season, and that was a very pleasing win in what could have been a decent maiden. He has had a few issues with the stalls and Yarmy (Steve Dyble) went down to the start with him to ensure that all went well, and he went straight in first time. We can look for something better."
