Joshua Tree put up another solid performance when finishing fifth in The Prix Ganay (Group 1) on Sunday at Longchamp.
The race was a fantastic battle between the wonder filly Treve and the classy Cirrus Des Aigles, with Cirrus coming out on top. Joshua Tree sat second for the majority of the race but couldn’t quicken when the winner and the second challenged. He ran on gamely to finish fifth, beaten seven lengths by the two highest rated horses in Europe this year. Joshua Tree has arrived home today and could possibly run again this Saturday at Newmarket in The Jockey Club Stakes. We will wait and see how he has come out of his race before making a final decision.
