Gworn put a disappointing run at Goodwood behind him and continued his progression by winning comfortably at Leicester over a mile last night for his owner Mr Noel Martin.
The Aussie Rules colt was given a confident ride by Graham Lee, who has struck up a good partnership with Gworn, having won twice and been second on him on his last three rides.
He was held up off an early moderate pace and travelled through the race well, winning with only a hands and heels ride for his delighted owner. Graham Lee quoted "The drop of rain we had has helped him and he stayed on well."
Hopefully Gworn can continue his upward progression and win again soon!
