CONCISE made her second start a winning one when scoring at Kempton under William Buick. Running in the colours of St Albans Bloodstock LLP & Cliveden Stud this filly finished a promising third on her debut at Lingfield. A good looking daughter of Lemon Drop Kid, she was settled in behind the leaders last night before making her challenge two furlongs out. Buick only had to shake her up to go clear of the field and gradually closed on the leader a furlong out, running on well in the last fifty yards to account for Ostaad by a length. The front pair pulled ten lengths clear of the remainder in the mile event, which suggests this filly can step up and improve again.
