After a very cold and testing end to January with temperatures hitting -10°C it was a relief to welcome the slightly milder weather and some sunshine. The two year olds have been progressing well in their work during the first month of 2023 and on 1st February went for their first steady canter up the Warren Hill Grass (as seen in linked video) behind Prince the lead horse. It’s an important time of year for all the La Grange residents, ensuring the correct preparation is in place as the horses start to increase their work ready for the 2023 season. With Spring hopefully just around the corner we can all start to get excited for the return of the flat!
