Mother and daughter combination Kate and Sophie Smith have been enjoying a prosperous summer between them. Gatwick Kitten, owned by Kate Smith, has been the winner of 3 races and Sophie has tasted success three times on the Paul Turner owned Lennys Spirit including most recently this week at Haydock where Smith deployed Lennys favourite front running tactics. Furthermore Gatwick Kittens most recent win had come just a couple of days before at Yarmouth ridden by Oisin Murphy.
Both Lenny and Gatwick are yard favourites and we’re really pleased to be able to support Sophies Amateur exploits in aiming to obtain the Ladies Title, we’ll be keeping everything crossed, and also provide Kate with some wins!
Both horses will be out again before the end of the summer and look forward to how they get on for connections.
