10-06-2009 Silaah strikes at Kempton
SILAAH secured a well deserved second career success when landing a 7f handicap at Kempton this evening.
The five-year-old son of Mind Games, a 6-1 shot, was given a good ride by Tadhg O’Shea who settled his mount in towards the rear in a strongly-run race.
As they entered the straight O’Shea asked his mount to quicken and he did so in good style, wearing down the leader in the final furlong to score by a three quarters of a length.
It was trainer Ed Dunlop’s second winner in two days showing that he has his team in good form ahead of Royal Ascot next week.
