10-02-2009Moon Crystal back in form at Kempton
Moon Crystal was back in the winner’s enclosure at Kempton yesterday after winning the Three Bridges Handicap Stakes under a great front running ride from Jim Crowley.
Although she was still a little keen in front, Moon Crystal was happy to set the pace in the mile Handicap and although she was headed inside the final furlong, she rallied back gamely to win by three quarters of a length.

This was a fantastic result for the filly and her owner and breeder, Mr Geoffrey Bishop. Moon Crystal won her maiden in March 2008 but suffered a minor set back. She has run consistently in her last few races but at times has been unlucky and so we were thrilled to see her back to her winning ways.
We will see how she comes out of this race before deciding whether to run her again or retire her to the paddocks.
