03-12-2008 Thin Red Line wins his Maiden
We were delighted to see Thin Red Line win his Maiden at Lingfield yesterday under a front running ride from Jamie Spencer. The two year old son of Red Ransom broke well and travelled nicely throughout the mile contest. He picked up the pace turning in for home and drew clear with the second horse to win by three quarters of a length.

Thin Red Line made his racecourse debut at Newmarket where he finished sixth. He then ran respectably at Wolverhampton before being outpaced last time out at Great Leighs. He appreciated the step up in trip yesterday and hopefully we will be able to run him back under a penalty next week.
Many congratulations to his owners, Byculla Thoroughbreds, who also enjoyed a fruitful time with Cosmic Art last season. Let’s hope that Thin Red Line can emulate this success.
