12-09-2008 Wasan victorious at Doncaster
Wasan returned to his winning ways at Doncaster yesterday when he took the totesuper7 Handicap. Trying the mile and two trip for the second time, Wasan was held up early on in the hands of Richard Hills and given plenty of cover. He looked to be boxed in when approaching the two furlong marker, but fortunately got the gap he was waiting for. He showed an impressive turn of foot inside the final furlong and stayed on well to get up on the line and win by a short head from Allied Powers.
We were thrilled to see Wasan win again, as he is a horse that we hold in high regards in the yard. He was coming back off a short break having returned a little sore after his run at Newmarket in July and it was great to see him relishing the softer conditions at Donaster.

Wasan
We will see how he comes out the race before deciding on his next target but the Cambridgeshire would have to be considered, especially if the ground was in his favour.
