22-08-2008 Crystal Moments makes it a treble
Crystal Moments scored at Wolverhampton on Monday, making it three wins from just four runs this season. Partnered once again by Eddie Ahern, the filly jumped well and tracked the leaders early on. She was ridden along a furlong out and although at one point, it looked as though her top weight may get the better of her, she battled on gamely and won by half a length.
This was a fantastic result for the filly and also her sire, Haafhd, who is in his first season as a sire. Crystal Moments holds an entry in the Watership Down Stud Sales Race in September and all being well, this will be her seasonal goal.
