05-11-2007Formation wins his Maiden at Wolverhampton

We were delighted to see Formation get his head in front at Wolverhampton yesterday. Given a positive front running ride by his jockey Jamie Spencer, the colt travelled strongly throughout the mile Maiden and was pushed out hands and heels in the final furlong to win by five lengths from Tamasou.

Formation

This was a great result, as Formation was a little unlucky last time out at Lingfield, just finding a newcomer too good for him. He will now be given a break over the winter before coming back for his three year old campaign.
