16-10-2007Naughty Frida gets off the mark at Lingfield
We were thrilled to see Naughty Frida win her maiden at Lingfield yesterday. Ridden by Paul Hanagan, she was a little keen in the early stages of the six furlong contest and sat handy through the first half of the race. She made her challenge over a furlong out and put her previous racecourse experience to good use, holding on to win from the late challenging Messias De Silva.

This was a great result not only for the filly, who has shown ability in her previous runs, but also for her owner Mr P Lassen who is in his first year as an owner with Ed Dunlop.
Our other runner of the day was Bavarian Nordic, also owned by Mr Lassen. He ran a cracking race first time out in Nursery company and was just beaten a short head. We hope to win with him next time out.
