02-10-2007King Charles victorious at Ascot
We were all thrilled to see King Charles win the EBF Ratcliffes Syndication Classified Stakes at Ascot on Friday. Ridden prominently throughout the ten furlong contest by Steve Drowne, he took up the lead two furlongs out and won by a comfortable two lengths from Ajhar.

It was fantastic to see him get his head in front again, as he has run so consistently all year but always seemed to come up against one too good for him. It has not been decided if he will run again this year but he will remain in training next year and hopefully he will have a successful four year old campaign.
