05-09-2007 Update on Eight To Follow competition
The eight to follow competition has just two months of the flat season to go and while our current leader may be hard to catch, the positions for second and third remain wide open. The horses ran well during August when we had eight winners.
Close To Paradise won her Maiden at Leicester under a strong ride from Jamie Spencer. Hip made her racecourse debut a winning one, when she landed a Windsor maiden in the hands of Jimmy Fortune.

Close To Paradise
Central Force was narrowly beaten at Sandown at the start of the month, but went one better a week later when winning a Newmarket Handicap under Ryan Moore.

Central Force
Cosmic Art won a Wolverhampton nursery before going onto York where he was third in the St Leger Yearling Stakes. He has been an absolute star for us this season and we hope to see him run in group company before the end of the year.
It was great to see Commandment get his head in front at Brighton and Broomielaw made his return to the racecourse a winning one at Doncaster. He is a horse that we hold in high regards and look forward to his four year old campaign next season.

Broomielaw
King Of Argos has been another consistent type and he notched up his third win of the season at Goodwood under a great ride from Ryan Moore.
Dancer’s Legacy was our last winner of the month. He won his maiden at the third time of asking in the hands of our very own Tom McLaughlin at Warwick.
