20-08-2007 Broomielaw wins his Maiden
We were thrilled to see Broomielaw win his Maiden at Doncaster on Friday. Partnered by Ryan Moore, Broomielaw was handy throughout the ten furlong contest before taking up the lead three furlongs out. He was pushed out to the line and won comfortably by three lengths from Bright Mind.
It was great to see Broomielaw win as he is a horse who has always impressed us in his work at home. He ran once at two years where he finished second and then was unlucky in running on his seasonal debut in April, where he finished fourth in one of the best Maiden’s this season. Unfortunately Broomielaw sustained an injury in this race and so was given plenty of time to recuperate.

At present Broomielaw does not hold any smart entries but he looks to be a horse with an exciting future and we look forward to seeing him run again soon.
