27-06-2007 Held Captive wins her Maiden at Newmarket
Held Captive won her Maiden in impressive fashion at Newmarket on Saturday in the hands of Stephen Donohoe.
Having just her second career run, Held Captive was held up in the early stages of the mile Maiden before making headway three furlongs out. She took up the lead inside the final furlong and ran on strongly to win by six lengths from Murbek.

We were delighted to see her win her Maiden as she is a filly that we have always liked at home. She comes from a family that her trainer is very familiar with, being a half sister to Red Racketeer and we hope to see her progress in a similar manner.
