01-06-2007 Madaarek wins at Nottingham
After an unlucky run at Newbury last time out, we were delighted to see Madaarek win at Sandown last night. The three year old son of Kingmambo was trying the fourteen furlong trip for the first time but it proved no problem and he travelled well early on, tracking the leading pair.
Martin Dwyer got to work on Madaarek two furlongs out and he stayed on gamely to win by a length from Squadron.

Madaarek
He is an improving horse, who stays well and there should be plenty of middle distance races for him this summer.
