28-04-2007 Madaarek wins his Maiden
Madaarek made the trip to Beverley worthwhile yesterday when he won the Holtby Builders Handicap. He travelled well early on in the ten furlong contest and Richard Hills had him handy throughout. When asked to challenge he stayed on well and battled it out in the last half furlong with News Of The Day, before getting up in the last few strides to win by three quarters of the length.

We were delighted with this result and will look to step him up in trip next time out.
