King Charles recorded back to back victories when landing his second consecutive Nursery Handicap at Lingfield yesterday.

The son of King’s Best defied both a penalty and an unfavourable draw to land the seven furlong contest by a pleasing three and a half lengths.
The two year old broke sharply from the stalls, racing in second position, before quickening when turning for home.
Daragh O’Donohoe was on board to maintain his winning partnership with the gelding, and pushed him clear for a comfortable win.
