Voodoo Prince gained the second victory of his career at Ripon in the feature handicap on the card, The City of Ripon Stakes over a mile and a quarter. Being the first son of the great Ouija Board, he has always had a lot to live up to and so we are delighted that he has rewarded some of his owner, Lord Derby's patience by winning again. He had to come from a wide draw, from a fair way off the pace and through a bit of trouble to win this race. However he was given a strong ride from Graham Lee and he stayed on well despite the rain softened ground and won by a length.
Earlier in the day Sharaarah ran a brave race in the nursery over 6f just being touched out of second place.
