Vivre Pour Vivre
Vivre Pour Vivre started life in handicap company contesting a three runner ten furlong handicap in heavy conditions at Leicester yesterday. He started favourite after his comfortable Wolverhampton success just under a month beforehand in maiden company.Ryan Moore soon had Vivre Pour Vivre settled in behind the front pair and allowed the Mark Johnston trained Lido Lady to set a reasonable pace given the conditions.
The pace quickened at the three furlong marker and Moore gave Vivre one smack down the neck to wake him up, when he pulled him out the son of Pour Moi found his stride and came past his two rivals to win with great authority by seven lengths. His two rivals were having their first runs in 2016 and both of them seemed to get tired in the latter stages of the race so we hope the handicapper takes this into account when adjusting his rating.
Congratulations go to his owner's Paul and Susan Roy and we hope that your colt can continue to improve and provide you with more success in 2016. It is the first Turf winner in 2016 for La Grange and the eleventh for the yard in total and that has only been possible through the hard work of all the team, well done to everyone and we hope your hard work continues to be rewarded throughout the season.
