It has arguably turned into the best day of the year so far as the sun has been shining and for most of the morning there was hardly a cloud in the sky. There was a light frost very early on but the weather has now warmed up. The majority of the horses have recently had their pre-season flu vaccinations so they had an easy time on Warren Hill this morning but the string continue to seem fresh and well in themselves. We have not made any entries today as the ground at Redcar is looking like it will be soft. I will talk about our two runners tomorrow in Wednesday’s blog.
Mrs D and I had a fantastic time at the 02 arena last night watching Adele in concert. Her vocals were very close to pitch perfect and the special effects were incredible. The acoustics in the O2 arena are excellent and if you have not been there before I highly recommend a visit.
We have decided to do a fitness session on a weekly basis after everyone enjoyed their first session spinning last week at the Racing Centre. Harry and Luke our Apprentice’s will not be attending as they are heading to the British Racing School for some jockey coaching.
