Blushes
It was a very misty start to proceedings here in Newmarket but the sun broke through later in the morning and it is now a scorching day with the temperatures getting close to 30oc once more. We are looking forward to the Open Day on Sunday and the weather thankfully looks to be dry, we will be demonstrating our Water Treadmill at 09:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am and as usual we will have a cake stand where we will be serving tea and coffee.
Almizhar made his debut at Sandown Park yesterday and he was slowly away and whilst he never got involved he showed some promise for the future.
We have two runners tonight at Chelmsford, Wealth Tax runs in the mile Maiden, we are running him here as I want to avoid fast ground. He is a horse I own myself and so I hope he can show us something to build on for the future. Blushes runs in the 20:50 1m2f handicap, the trip should suit her as she appears to gallop rather than quicken and she is dropping down in grade to 0-60 company. She ran in the blinkers at Windsor when she was second behind Reaver, who has franked the form since and so we hope she can run well.
