Sagaciously impresses on her first career start when winning at Leicester under James Doyle.
Sagaciously is a scopey filly by Lawman who has always shown plenty of promise at home but was a type you would have expected to need a run or two for the penny to drop. Obviously not! She jumped well from a wide draw and was settled by James Doyle behind the leaders. She travelled well throughout the race and quickened and battled well in the last furlong, winning comfortably by half a length in the end. This was a hugely encouraging debut for a big filly who looks like she will be a nice three year old prospect.
