Romeo Montague keeps up great run

We are enjoying one of those purple patches that you need to make the most of, and the latest celebration came at Wolverhampton on Tuesday, when ROMEO MONTAGUE justified favouritism in the 1700 metres handicap, our fifth winner from our last 11 runners.

'Romeo' blew the start and was in an uncompromising position going into the final turn, but Tom McLaughlin, who did not panic and knew what he had under the bonnet, stuck to the inside and, with the runners fanning out, he got a dream run through and Romeo Montague, who was allotted a mark of 63 for his first handicap, readily held Iron Green.
