Red Cadeaux just outpointed at Chester

Sat 21 August 2010

RED CADEAUX got the easy ground that he has been craving for all season, but, though he came to win his race at the furlong-pole in the big staying handicap at Chester, he was just outgunned by the in-form Lady Eclair, being beaten a neck.

Ed said"Red Cadeaux needed his last race as he had been off almost three months waiting for the ground to change, and we wanted to run him in the Ebor, He was first reserve at York and never got a run, but he did nothing wrong at Chester and just bumped into an in-form mare. We will be hoping for some more easy ground this autumn, and, hopefully, he'll go one better."
