RED AVENGERĀ made it two wins from four outings today when taking the Cambridge News Excellent Horseracing Coverage Nursery at Newmarket. The two year old son of American sire War Front won his maiden nicely at Warwick in August and was unlucky not to win again on his last start, when just held by Regal Dan at Doncaster over seven furlongs. However, running over a mile today, the Ronnie Arculli owned colt was kept up to his work by Paul Hanagan, staying on well to score by a head from Darkening. This graduate of the Tattersalls Breeze Up is a smart sort who should continue his winning ways.
