NEGIN won in fine style at Newmarket last night in the hands of in form jockey William Buick. A daughter of the Group 3 winner, Snow Goose, she showed plenty of promise on her initial run as a juvenile at Goodwood, so this win was not coming out of turn. She appeared to enjoy the cut in the ground, as she had shown at Nottingham on her penultimate start, where she finished second on her handicap debut. It was an easy victory for the Mohammed Jaber owned filly, as she travelled well in the mile event and drew clear of her rivals by three and a half lengths.
