We are all delighted to have had our first winner of the year with MUARRAB landing the seven furlong Maiden at Lingfield.
Under the hands of Sheikh Hamdan's new stable jockey, Paul Hanagan, this three year old colt was drawn wide and tracked the leaders. He made his challenge over two out and got his head in front just before the furlong marker and won going away, beating Cooler Climes by a length and three quarters.
"We are delighted to have had our first winner of the year. Considering he was drawn fourteen, it was a decent performance and hopefully he can build on this in the future."
