This is one of the most informative weeks of the Flat season, with classic trials at Newmarket and Newbury, and the team could not be in better form, with MUNAASEB running out a hugely impressive winner of the maiden at Lingfield on Saturday.
Sheikh Hamdan Al-Maktoum's Munaaseb is bred for speed, being a half-brother to Cornwallis and Palace House Stakes winner Amour Propre, and he confirmed the promise he showed on his one run last year when rocketing clear early in the straight to win by eight lengths.
Ed said:"I am not sure how good the race was, but Munaaseb could not have done it any better. He grew a lot last year so we had to be patient, but he is a speedy sort and we'll have to look for stepping him up in class."
