The time of year came round again where La Grange opens its gates to the public for the Henry Cecil Open Weekend in aid of Racing Welfare, The British Racing School and Newmarket Open Door – all charities that serve very important roles within the horse racing community.
We are very thankful for the usual support of those attending the open weekend who visit La Grange, purchasing tea and cakes, taking part in the tombola, and guessing the weight of Ascot Gold Cup winning special guest - TRIP TO PARIS! Their contriubtions helped us to raise over £1000 for associated charities.
The event was very lucky with really good weather over the weekend, and we hope that all those who joined us enjoyed the morning followed by a great afternoon on the Severals. We’d also like to extend a thank you to our staff that stayed to help and chat to the public, which we know those attending really appreciate.
