Mushareefa
It has been a glorious morning here in Newmarket and the horses have continued to benefit from the unseasonably warm weather although we did have a slight ground frost yesterday morning. I worked some horses on the Golden Mile this morning and I was happy with how the majority of them went. It was beautiful ground with a lovely cushion and the horses were able to stride out and enjoy themselves on it.
Alemaratalyoum was very disappointing at Kempton on Wednesday. He was a little keen out in front but failed to see out his race and finished sixth. I believe he is better than what he showed here and hopefully we can get him back on track when he next runs.
Mushareefa is our only runner today at Leicester in the mile Maiden. It should be lovely ground there and I hope she can have a nice experience. There are some well bred types in the field and I would be surprised if she proved good enough to beat them but I hope she can show us some promise to work on in the future.
