Capricious Cantor
It was incredibly foggy during the first two lots this morning but the skies have cleared and it has turned into a beautiful day. We had a heavy shower here last night and that meant that the ground was beautiful on the Limekilns this morning.
Sileel ran very well at Chelmsford and she was just worn down by a nice newcomer late on. We will look for a mile and a half option in a couple of weeks and I really hope she can break her Maiden soon. Same Jurisdiction had an irregular heartbeat after her disappointing run over at Tipperary and she will now be retired and will head to the paddocks.
We only have one runner today over in France. Capricious Cantor runs in a trappy 1m2f Listed race at Fontainebleau, run at 12:55 UK time. If she can run to the form of her Le-Lion D’Angers second back in June she will have each way claims in a competitive race that only has the eight runners. Avenue Dargent looks to be improving and may go off favourite, whilst Thank You Bye Bye ran well in this company recently and she rarely runs a bad race.
